It is amazing to see bloggers transcending beyond the blogosphere and proudly making it on national TV.

This may be a pioneering accomplishment to see a blogger to prominently appear even on television hosting his own show named after his own blog.

Now if you're not yet impressed, you're probably dead.

Blogs and social media were meant to rule the world but not this fast. Only two years have passed and we surprisingly see Wazzup Pilipinas topping the charts as an online startup success. Who would have imagined that a former Systems Administrator of an IT company would reap the rewards as a member of the press - the new media, the online publication that went into radio and now TV.

We are not exaggerating when we say "He's made it huge!" Not only physically, because of all that restaurant review and dining galore at every event, but also as a success in collaborating with equally promising individuals that are experts at their own respective fields.

"Pakikisama", "utang na loob", "that's wehat friends are for" may have positive effects but they also encourage negative acts like following each other blindly to everyone's pitiful destruction just because you owe him a favor, or the other way around.

We all tend to end up being an angry mob when one member of the "friendship" clan is arguing with some other party. Parang brotherhood sa fraternity na hindi necessary to know what the other party is fighting for. Basta kakampi ako sa brod ko. Basta kadikit ko tropa ko. Basta kung sino kaaway ng repapips ko ay kaaway ko rin. Kampihan to the blues hanggang sa wakas.

Who cares about logic, sense and sensibility when the gang is here? We are just a crude arrogant group willing to put up our lives towards fighting a common designated enemy. Just to kill the time.

First Person: "If you want the truth, listen to the other side of the story. Responsible journalism which should also apply to blogging."

Second Person: "You know, nakinig na ako before and apparently, hindi nagbago. Nagdelete ako ng post. Nagblind item pa nga eh. What an asshole"

May pinaghuhugutan pala siya ng galit. He felt betrayed. I feel him. I apologize if he was hurt. It was unintentional and could not be recalled.

If he only knew what really happened, and the awful mistake that took place. I still remember how I was surprised seeing that post while I was out in the field. I had no way to put it down. I had no Internet access that time, and when the moment came I was about to remove it from the site, I read about curses and hateful words already. Other people already magnified the situation by fanning the flames. It had gone out of control.

I was weak, my pride took place and decided to keep the article posted. I said to myself  "He does not deserve any respect." I was disappointed of myself.
